What to do if you find a sick, injured or orphaned bat or flying fox?
DO NOT HANDLE THE BAT
Call a Wildlife Carer as soon as possible.
If a Flying Fox is on a fence, cover with a cloth to protect it from the sun and predators. If dead on ground, using gloves, or a heavy cloth place in a box, then wash hands thoroughly in soapy water and call F.A.U.N.A. on

What to do if you find a sick, orphaned or injured possum?
Wearing gloves, wrap animal in a cloth or towel and place in cardboard box.
Call a Wildlife Carer as soon as possible. If you find a DEAD possum please
check to see if it is female, then check the pouch for young. If there is live young and it is fully furred please remove carefully and wrap in a warm cloth, If it is unfurred and still attached to the teat place dead mother in a cardboard box and

What to do if you find a sick, orphaned or injured Macropod?
Call a Wildlife Carer as soon as possible. If you find a DEAD Kangaroo/Wallaby please check to see if it is female, then check the pouch for young. If there is live young and it is fully furred please remove carefully and wrap in a warm cloth, if it is unfurred and still attached to the teat, DO NOT attempt to remove it and call F.A.U.N.A. on

What to do if you find a sick, injured or orphaned Koala?
